Who We are

Dar Abu Abdullah (DAA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization with a mission to combat hunger and sustain livelihoods in Jordan.

Named after His Majesty the late King Hussein bin Talal and chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, Dar Abu Abdullah was established in an effort to honor His Majesty’s spirit and his belief that the human being is the most precious asset.

Through its partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali, Dar Abu Abdullah will expand its programs aimed at preventing hunger by strengthening the capabilities of families identified by TUA, giving them new tools to achieve sustainable livelihoods, including educational opportunities through its “Let’s Build this Country” program. As well as vocational and technical training, through the “Ahl Al Azm” Program which will provide and equip beneficiaries with various skills, training and support for job opportunities to become more self-sufficient in the future. And the third program “Insan” is concerned in health assistance through DAA’s Insan initiative.
